She worked her way up the ranks and eventually became a senior manager in the audit and assurance division. She joined the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), the country’s aviation regulatory authority, as Director of Finance and Accounts in 2004. She was in charge of the agency’s financial management, budgeting, accounting, auditing, and reporting operations. She was also important in introducing International Civil Aviation Organization standards and best practices to the Nigerian aviation sector.
