After not being found guilty of assaulting a man on a mobility scooter, Corey Worthington acted defiantly outside of court, yelling and screaming at the media. On Monday, Worthington, 32, went to the Geelong Magistrates’ Court without his famous yellow sunglasses and with a new hairstyle. He was not found guilty of attack and damage charges.

Worthington also got into a fight with TV reporters outside of court, which he recorded live on his Instagram. When asked outside of court if he felt bad about what he did, he responded angrily and said, “The assault happened, simple.”

He asked, “I know I did something wrong, but I want to know what you would do if someone touched the mother of your child.”

“Whatever is decided in that moment should stay that way.”

“The court made its decision,” I said. They didn’t find me guilty today.

According to the court, Worthington finished an anger management training well after pleading guilty in June to two counts of unlawful assault and criminal damage.

Worthington was charged with assaulting a man in his 50s who was riding a wheelchair scooter and damaging a car windshield in January.

In that case, he reportedly told police that the man had supposedly beaten up his partner.

During the short meeting, Worthington’s lawyer gave magistrate John Bentley a letter that explained how he took and finished the course.

He got a 12-month bond for good behavior without being convicted by Mr. Bentley, who was upset that the media was interested in the case.

“All right, Corey. You did everything I told you to do,” he responded.

“I guess it’s a bad thing that there’s a media circus here today.”

When asked if he would agree to a good behavior bond, Worthington only spoke once and said, “Yes, Your Honor.”

Mr. Bentley told them, “Take this bond and don’t get into any trouble. That’s it.”

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a safe holiday.

Worthington yelled at reporters outside the court, including Channel 9 reporter Amber Johnston, that they didn’t like it when “it’s on the other foot.”

He took video of the heated arguments and put it on his Instagram.

“They’re filming me, and I’m just doing what’s right by filming them back,” he said.
