Donald McKinley Glover Jr. was born on September 25, 1983, at the Edwards Air Force Base in California. His father, Donald Sr., was a postal worker stationed at the base, and his mother, Beverly, had previously worked in a daycare. He was raised at Stone Mountain, Georgia, with his two siblings.
His parents also worked as foster parents for 14 years.He went to Lakeside High School and DeKalb School of the Arts before doing his study at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. In 2006, he graduated from college with a Dramatic Writing degree.
