Kostecki returned to NASCAR in 2023, making his Cup Series debut at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road circuit. He raced with Richard Childress Racing, which had an extra vehicle for him that weekend, the No. 33 Chevrolet. He would qualify eleventh and finish in 22nd place.
On October 2, 2023, it was reported that Kostecki would return to the Cup Series part-time in 2024, this time for Erebus Motorsport, his Supercars Series team, which would make its NASCAR debut in cooperation with Richard Childress Racing.
The announcement featured a photo of a Cup Series vehicle with the No. 99, Kostecki’s Supercar number, but since Trackhouse Racing already has that number in the Cup Series, Erebus will need to choose a different number for their participation. Richard Childress claimed that Kostecki will compete in up to five Cup Series races in 2024, including an oval race.
Brodie debuted in the 2019 Bathurst 1000 alongside cousin Jake Kostecki. The pair crashed on Lap 111 and were unable to finish.
